Indian Summer Melon Salad Recipe Melons are good source of water. Whenever feel dehydrated try my recipe inspired by the chef vikas khanna.  Ingredients of Indian Summer Melon Salad 4-5 basil leaves 1 bowl yogurt 2 tsp honey 2 tsp pepper powder 1 cantaloupe 1 honeydew 1 sun melon 1 watermelon Mint leaves Salt How to Make Indian Summer Melon Salad Take a bowl of yogurt & add honey, pepper powder, chopped basil leaves, salt & mix well.  Pour it on a platter of chopped cantaloupe, honeydew, sun melon & watermelon. Pour some more honey & sprinkle some pepper powder over the platter.  Garnish and Serve. 

MOONG SALAD

Moong sprouts salad is a very easy as well as a very healthy salad recipe. this salad made from moong sprouts is specially good for people who does not have much time for cooking. once the moong beans have been sprouted then we have a quick salad recipe in hand and we can easily flavor it as per your taste.  in this salad recipe, we need to steam or boil the sprouts  till they are completely cooked. the water which we use to boil sprouts is generally discarded. but that water is very healthy and can be used for cooking or can be given to your plants or herbs which you are growing in your kitchen garden.  MOONG SALAD INGREDIENTS (1 cup = 250 ml) 2   cups   of sprouted moong beans 1   small or medium sized onion,   finely chopped 1   medium size tomato,   finely chopped 1   green chilli   (hari mirch) - finely chopped, optional ¼   teaspoon   red chilli powder (lal mirch powder) ½ or 1   teaspoon   chaat masala   (optional) 1   teaspoon   lemon juice   or as req

Spicy  macaroni is a mouthwatering pasta recipe cooked in the traditional Indian way with select spice powders or masalas. The boiled macaroni is tossed with onion, tomato, ginger, garlic and garam masala a nd s erved hot.                                                                                                            Ingredients 1 cup macroni  2 tbsp of finely chopped garlic 1tbsp  finely chopped ginger (adrak) 1/2 cup finely chopped onions 1 cup finely chopped fresh tomato  1 tsp chilli powder 1 cube vegetables seaasoning  1/2 cup finely chopped fresh capsicum  2 tbsp tomato ketchup  Salt to taste Method   Boil enough water in a deep non-stick pan, add macaroni, salt and few drops of oil. Cook till macaroni is cooked which will take approx. 8 minutes. Drain the water and keep the pasta aside. Pasta is todays favourite food among childrens as well as elders.The yummy flavour and look of pasta attracts everyone.It is the healthy food . INGREDENTS: 1/2 (16 ounce) package rotini pasta 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup fresh lime juice 2 tablespoons chili powder, or to taste 2 teaspoons ground cumin 1 1/2 cups whole kernel corn 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves 1 cup chopped roma (plum) tomatoes 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cloves garlic Directions: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes and drain In a large bowl combine oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, salt and garlic. Stir in pasta and set aside to cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally. Stir in corn, beans, green pepper, red pepper and 1/2 of the cilantro leaves. Spoon onto a platter and garnish with tomatoes and remaining cilantro.
